THE CHALLENGE — COACHING FOCUS
Franchón came to Steven after losing her super middleweight titles, with her championship legacy on the line and undefeated Shadasia Green standing in her way. The mission was clear: rebuild confidence, master the pressure, and prepare to perform like a champion when it mattered most.
Had just lost her world titles
Needed to rebuild championship confidence
THE A-GAME WORK
Using Steven’s proprietary A-GAME Analysis, they identified the mindset, emotional patterns, and performance skills Franchón needed to be at her best. Steven then built a customized championship-performance system incorporating hypnosis, meditation, breathwork, visualization, confidence training, and nervous-system regulation—all designed to help her stay calm, in control, and execute her fight plan.
Entered the Green fight an 8-1 underdog
Won by unanimous decision
THE RESULT
On December 15, 2023, Franchón, an 8-1 underdog, defeated previously undefeated Shadasia Green and reestablished herself among boxing’s elite. Her comeback was more than a win—it was a demonstration of what happens when elite physical preparation meets an A-GAME mindset under championship pressure.
Held all four major titles: WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF
Still training the mental side with Steven
“I needed another champion in my corner that whys I got with Steven. By the time I got to the fight, when I even tried to think negatively, I could not see myself losing. — it exuded from me so much so that I became the unified World Champion.”

When Kaʻimi began working with Steven midway through the 2021 season, he was already an accomplished NFL kicker and former Lou Groza Award winner, but his season had not been as consistent as he wanted. His goal wasn’t simply to fix a problem—it was to discover how good he could become. In one of the NFL’s highest-pressure positions, he wanted to elevate his mental game and become more focused, confident, composed, and consistent when every kick mattered.
Wasn't converting his talent into consistency
Came to Steven mid-season, 2021
THE A-GAME WORK
Using Steven’s proprietary A-GAME Analysis, they identified what Kaʻimi needed mentally and emotionally to consistently perform at his best. Together, they developed customized performance routines around mindfulness, flow state, optimism, self-compassion, focus, nervous-system regulation, and A-GAME Activation. The objective was simple: stay present, trust the preparation, and perform with confidence under pressure.

Mikalyn began working with Steven during her senior year of high school with a clear goal: prepare herself to compete at the Division I level. She wanted to maximize her performance both on the field and in the classroom while finishing her high school career strong and preparing for the demands of college athletics.
Chasing a Division I roster spot
The talent was there; the consistency wasn't
THE A-GAME WORK
Using Steven’s proprietary A-GAME approach, they focused on the mental and performance skills that would help Mikalyn consistently be her best. Their work included mindfulness, performance routines, self-compassion, communication, confidence, and A-GAME Activation. The goal was to help her stay present, respond positively to pressure, communicate effectively, and bring the same high-performance mindset to both academics and athletics. At the end of her senior year, she received an offer to join the softball team at University of San Diego

knew I was talented but felt I could use more confidence.
Steven helped me increase my confidence and positive self-talk. Most importantly, he helped me
learn to give myself grace, or in Steven’s words, ‘self-compassion,’ when I would mentally beat
myself up.
On and off the field, I now have tools to manage stress, stay positive and confident, and balance
the demands of being a student-athlete.”

Carter began working with Steven as a 15-year-old high school freshman with a big goal: play Division I college baseball. His parents wanted to help him build greater confidence and improve his performance on the field. Carter identified three areas he wanted to strengthen most: self-confidence, positive inner dialogue, and focus—all critical skills for a developing athlete.
Parents reached out when he was 15

THE A-GAME WORK

“Steven was recently hired to mentally prepare 40+ NFL prospects for the most important interview of their athletic career for the 2022 and 2023 NFL Combine. Over an 8-week period, Steven’s coaching consisted of how to:
1.) Communicate effectively in the interview process with team owners and head coaches
2.) Have an optimistic mindset, be mindful, self-compassionate
3.) Regulate one’s mental and emotional state
4.) Perform at one’s A-GAME when it matters most.
